Abstract

The Book of Mormon’s primary contributors not only anticipated and prophesied of a future restoration of divine truths, but they foresaw that their sacred record would play a fundamental role in that restoration. Because the Book of Mormon contains the words of Christ and because it naturally facilitates personal revelation, it meaningfully acts as a sign of the Restoration to each individual who sincerely seeks a witness of its truth. Those who become converted through its powerful messages and everlasting covenants will become converted to Jesus Christ, to the fullness of His Gospel, and to the truth of Joseph Smith’s prophetic calling.
