I decided to depict Joseph Smith translating the Book of Mormon. In the drawing, Joseph Smith, an American religious leader and founder of Mormonism and the Latter Day Saint movement, is reading the Book of Mormon and trying to translate. When he was twenty-four, Smith published the Book of Mormon.
